HNIC games involving the Hawks are blacked out in Chicago market due to territorial restrictions. Which is a bummer. Nothing better than Saturday night HNIC broadcast with my buddy Don Cherry.

Maybe they'll upgrade. My Cable provider in Western Washington, Comcast, upgraded Versus to HD right at the start of last season.

I'm hoping...I already sent them an e-mail last year asking they upgrade. But everything I read indicates they have other priorities....(Mediacom)

It's kind of funny someone would say this, when they have sold out every home game since they moved back to Minny. So obviously at least the same number of people that fill the Xcel (is that the name of the place????) would watch an away game.
