nice. never even thought about that record. So caught up in the bigger record that these franchise ones keep creeping up.



I know these records aren't really ment to mean anything unless the season ends with the cup...but screw it I still like these records and the team chasing them. its fun.

Yea they technically do not. But in the grand scheme of a successful franchise they definitely do.



Records like this, the parity throughout the record and all that comes with it is definitely something to boast about. Just thinking about certain lowly franchises who have accomplished absolutely nothing such as the Preds and Blue Jackets. Obviously the Preds are much more respected seeing their consistency and decent amount of success. Now if EITHER had a streak such as this to boast about, I would see them in a different light.



It helps being an Original 6 team with 4 cups, hall of famers, in a giant city, and arguably the best roster in the NHL.
