Things like this build chemistry off the ice, and when you are building chemistry off the ice, eventually it translate on the ice.

Look at Kopecky and Hossa... off the ice they are very good friends, on the ice they are very good linemates.

Every championship team I have been on, the guys were always together off the ice. They need to develop a personal relationship with each of their teammates in order to not only play with emotion but to find each other on the ice and talk. Without that communication, the player with the most talent in the world can easily be reduced to an AHL all-star.

Big Fucking Deal, the team went out and had a SCHEDULED Part, on their off days, where the rookies had to pay for it. We need to stop nitpicking, yes it was expensive but the article says that they all split the cost, so unless one rookie ordered it and fucked the rest with the bill (which would have been reported that way) then it's not an issue. It was a 6 liter fucking bottle for gods sake. It was for the team, GOOD FOR THEM. THere is enough good leadership on this team that if something was going to be a determent to the team, someone would have stepped in and stopped it.

Too much being made here, I actually give the media credit for just reporting what it was and not trying to make a big deal out of it like this is what's wrong with the team and such.
