None of these signings are new. They all happened over a week ago LOL. Brophey has been in the org. for a while and has progressed nicely each season. I see him as a swing guy that should be at the top of the Icehogs list of players to see NHL time. Davis has had a tough go of things with injury but has shown signs of having a ton of talent. I like the loyalty here on the organization's part and if he can stay healthy, he could have a really nice year.
Cullimore was with the Hogs last season as well and I really don't think he will be the Hawks other D-man. He's been a great mentor to the young D-men in the organization and I see him as almost a player/coach and can help the Hawks if he has to.
Toivanen will only see NHL time if there are injuries and even then, it could end up being Joe palmer or Alec Richards just as easily.
Jessiman is a sleeper due to his size and previous AHL point production. I have commented on him in the Icehogs thread and I love the idea of him in Rockford but due to his history or never having played a game in the NHL, i'm not going to look for that to change this season.
