1 step forward, 2 steps back. Just when you think the team has kind of sort of figured it out they get smoked at home by one of the worst teams in the league, lol

What a sad time for Chicago sports, Bears suck, Blackhawks stink and the Bulls blow. Opening day baseball still 4 months away.

Yeah. I mean...what the hell? Crawford gives up 4 goals on 20 shots? Geez. Lehner wasn't much better though. Exactly right. Just when u start to think the Hawks and Bulls are finally turning it around...tonight happens. Guys on the radio were gushing over the Bulls winning 4 of their last 6. Whoa. Get the champagne ready...but Bulls talk is for another thread. But 7-1? To the Devils? Geez.

He got paid

He got his contract, the dollars do not start til next year, so he is another 862K guy and playing like it.

Does not help that he is bouncing all over the lineup. It works with Kane and Strome, so break it up.

At least we can watch the kid from Notre Dame hit some people on a nightly basis. I guess we see if Seabrook gets the message.

Its almost like a huge win, coach gets some credit and the vets say **** that noise. I dont know what kind of respect he will ever get from this crew when Kaner calls him Jeremy. How could they have determined Q lost this team and never figure out that JC never got the team. I guess Marc Crawford is back Jan 2. I guess we see what role.

Whatever JC said in the intermission didn't work.

That's not surprising -- whatever JC says, ever, never works. The guy has no pulse, and understandably, players simply are tuning him out (like many thought they would). If you listen to recent interviews, a lot of players are saying stuff like "you can go through the x's and o's all you want, but at the end of the day, you have to go out there and play mean" (paraphrasing) -- I feel like those are veiled shots at Colliton, since he's all about x's and o's and over-analyzing everything. That style -- and his micromanaging -- is obviously not meshing well with the team.

I don't disagree...JC is a lame duck. He seems to be the type where, if he says "Jump!" the players are like, "...so anyways, like I was saying..."

The flipside to that is player execution--which is something they haven't really been doing with any regularity--and that includes under Q in late 2017, 2018, and early 2019.

Part of me wonders if there even is a coach out there who they would listen to or would they just tune him out like they did JC and Q in Q's later tenure here. I get the feeling that the core might just be that checked out at this point.
