What more is there to say about this team? They were running on fumes, especially the D, and just beat two teams that might be the two best they've beaten in any of these runs. Anaheim and Tampa just came in waves, one with muscle, the other with speed, and in both cases the Hawks weathered the early storm and brought the ship home.

I have been a casual hockey fan for some years now. I do not consider myself very knowledgeable of the sport, but the series against the Ducks and the Finals against Tampa had to be the most intense hockey I have seen in my life. I was hanging on every second of every game.

Congrads Hawks fans...this one was a beauty. Best team in sports right now, IMHO.
