Some simple instructions:
1: You do not have to kick the ball (press 'X') as soon as you touch it...move around, push it...
2: Use the walls. Pass to yourself, open teammates or even shoot on goal off the wall.
3: Get the hell outta the way. Don't crowd your teammates...sometimes it's necessary (i.e., around your own goal)...but when the ball is in the corner on the other side of the field, if all 3 of you go to it, when it pops out in the open no one is there to retrieve/play defense.

This is by far the most important IMO.
I am not nearly as good as you or rush or some others but man its frustrating playing goalie and you go three teamates in the corner fighting for the ball like a bunch of Hyena's at their last meal.
