From time to time I've heard about official Bullspodcasters.com basketball games.

On a basketball forum it's extremely likely that there are some ballers on here who either used to play back in the day or who can still play.

Is there anyone on here who can light it up? What's the highest level you have played at? What are some of your skills (height, weight, position, specialties?)

And the most important question...who is the best baller on this forum? I'm hearing from a number of reliable sources that Brian Kush from Running With the Bulls may be the best. Is this true?

I think when everyone is in the U.S. we need to have a friendly game.

I was white guy who was long shooter all through middle school. I average 16 points game in 8th grade when I was finally given chance to play. I was pretty crappy defender though and had two pretty serious injuries during my first two years of high school so I wasn't able to play

Frank Breakfast-Styleham
Info: 6-4" 145 pounds
Highest Level of Play: YMCA, 8th grade (i had a fear of physical examinations which kept me from trying out for school teams; true story).
Stats: 7 points, 7 boards, 1 block a game
Position: Shooting guard
Speciality: At one time I was a 3-point specialist.
Which NBA Player reminds you of your style of play: Manute Bol, Walter McCarty, Jonathan Bender (taller than most the guys on the floor but camping out behind 3-point land waiting for an opportunity to throw up bombs).
Other: Though I can only do 2 or 3 different ones, I can dunk. Stopped playing regularly more than 10 years ago. Have started playing again recently at school with the students. Last game i played i hit 9 3's and scored 31 points to go with 12 boards and 4 blocks. Then again it was just 4 on 4 half court...enjoys jazz and long walks on the beach...(oh wait that's for a different forum...)

hahaha good stuff Frank.

I am 5''7 145 and I just like to stand behind the arc and launch 3s. Dont like contact because I am smaller.

Is it okay that I'm also 145 pounds but 6-4"? How do you think I would do in a Bullspodcasters game? You think I could light up Freddy Pfeiffer for 30 12 and 4 swats?

I sure do. I may not have the weight to hang around in the lane the whole game but i think i can take him!

You would probably be the tallest one there. If you live in Chicago talk to Doug, he usually is always setting up places to play.

Damn dude you're a stick. :cheer: Could your fear of physicals stem from the fact you liked to indulge in more, shall we say, recreational activities. B) Hehe. Jk. But seriously dude, eat some Subway or something. I'm 5' 10" & outweigh you by almost 20lbs.

Nice Jonathan Bender reference, haven't heard that name in years. You know you remind of my friend Ryan. He's 6' "2 - 6' 3" about 160lbs & just heaves up threes all the time too. He was the Matt Bullard of our Intermural team in High School. I'm a shorter, quicker guy so I've pretty much always been the point when I played. Haven't really seen Fred play but he's a ALOT bigger than you & I think he would eat you alive in the post.

No BG shrine. Actually, the only player specific decorative piece I have is a Kobe Bryant print. All my Bulls decorative stuff is Bulls team-specific. Maybe I'll see if the FreeDarko artist guy will make a Ben Gordon print (I think there is a decent chance they will have a Rose print, since they made the commercial with Rose.

I would say that Reggie Miller is more responsible for my style than Ben Gordon is, because I watched Reggie Miller in some more formative years.

The players my game is modeled after are pretty much the players I grew up watching the most. Never really went for the Jordan influence, because I knew pretty early that I wouldn't be anything like Jordan. But Reggie Miller, Miami Heat Tim Hardaway, Tim Duncan, Elton Brand, Ron Artest, Bruce Bowen, Dwyane Wade, Ben Wallace, and Ben Gordon are probably the guys with the most emphasis on what I try to do on the basketball court.

Now if only I could learn to emulate their athletic ability.

Man when I was younger and MJ was killing it, I would get so pumped after a Bulls game I would go play ball right after and try to emulate Mike.

I don't do drugs and never have. My downfall is my high metabolism. I can eat whatever i want and not worry about weight.

When i was in High School and was hitting growth spurts i was known to put some food down. Nothing compared to some of you fellas but not bad for a skinny guy.

Freshman year i ate an entire KFC family meal for dinner (8 pieces of chicken, 6 chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, 4 corn on the cobs, cole slaw, 4 biscuits and a chocolate cake. Didn't gain an ounce.

Once i ate 42 Krispy Kreme donuts in a 10-hour span. Lost 2 pounds (not kidding). Would have had more but i ran out and the friends i was staying with that weekend didnt have any more when i got there. Bummer. I could have hit for at least fitty or sixty five.

Like everyone else i ate a dozen Krispy Kremes on the ride home and would throw the box in the trash upon coming back in.

Senior year IHOP was running an All-You-Can-Eat pancake thing and i put down 20. But that was bogus because they stopped bringing my water out which slowed me down and since i had already eaten breakfast before coming i decided to call it quits after 20, just 5 short of the restaurant record. Still got my picture on the wall though.

Anyway, hopefully one of these days i'll put some pounds on.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Well I think it would be safe to say that I would not be the best player here by a long shot. Seeing as I'm only 5'5" and 130 lbs, you can see why. The highest level I've played at is my HS intramural team because all the teams I've tried out for have cut me. Usually that's a sign that you're not good, though in my case it may be because I'm so short compared to everyone else. I don't keep track of stats at all but I would say it would be around 4 pts, 3 rbs, 5-6 ast, and 1 stl per game. I pass a lot, thus the high assist number. I also take like 3 shots per game, thus the low points number.

Height: 5'5"
Weight: 130
Position: combo guard
Specialty: Yet to be determined
NBA Comparison: Delonte West

Does anyones game resemble Dwyane Schintzius?

Have we all forgotten about this guy? Came into the league out of Florida...with the mullet...maybe we should come up with an All Mullet team or somethhing. Let's see, who do we have?

All Mullet Team
Tom Chambers
Scott Roth
Dwyane Schintzius (last seen running from the backboard Shaq brought down on his head)
Joe Wolf (check the 1990 trading card! His was tops)
