From time to time I've heard about official Bullspodcasters.com basketball games.

On a basketball forum it's extremely likely that there are some ballers on here who either used to play back in the day or who can still play.

Is there anyone on here who can light it up? What's the highest level you have played at? What are some of your skills (height, weight, position, specialties?)

And the most important question...who is the best baller on this forum? I'm hearing from a number of reliable sources that Brian Kush from Running With the Bulls may be the best. Is this true?

I think when everyone is in the U.S. we need to have a friendly game.

I guess i'm a 'baller', or at least i was a couple years back. I've had the opportunity to play with a few nba guys (jamal crawford, Q, couple others). As far as stats go:

6'1
about 210
I can play anything 1-4

More than anything I enjoy palying the 1. But as i've been slowed the last couple of years by knee issues I mostly stick to taking jump shot. I've got pretty long arms so when i'm motivated (and in shape) I can be pretty tough to handle on D. As far as my shooting goes i've got a so so midrange jumper. Shooting the 3 is where I shine. When i'm hot, i'm a monster. My range max's out somewhere in the 8-10ft behind the 3pt line range.

But as far as who is the best player among us, its a tough call.

While i dont know if Fred's 3pt shot has the range mine does, he's definitely more consistent.

Kush is indeed a monster down low. I'm pretty strong and I still had my hands full on the occasions I was trying to guard him in the post.

Although i'm sure he'll disagree, I think Doug has been one of the most consistent among us. The fact that he can still play solid Defense 8 games in boggles my mind.

Raj (cool007) although he's been m.i.a. the last couple of times is one of the larger motivating forces on the court. the consistency with which he hustles is just awesome. And he shot is pretty good too. the list goes on and on. Micah (he's not on the boards but plays with us a lot) does all the little things and can score from anywhere, regardless of how awkward it looks.

All in all, its a pretty fun group we've got here. It makes my week whenever we schedule a game.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Just wanted to throw this out there. If anyone happens to live near the northern Chicago suburbs (Libertyville, Mundelein, Vernon Hills, Buffalo Grove, etc) we could have our own little pick up games. It would be a bit more manageable for people like myself who can't make it down to Schaumburg for DT's games.

I already have pick up games with my friends, which anyone can easily slide into (there aren't that many of us usually). The more the merrier :)

Oh yeah, if you think playing with all high schoolers (since I am in HS and thus my friends are too) is a bit under your league, there could be a bullspodcasters.com only type deal.
