Problem with Wilbon's comaprison to Jordan is the East was aging and getting worse when he and the Bulls started to ascend.

The East right now is getting better and has a lot of player in their prime playing dominant roles. The exception being Boston of course but I don't see the Heat, Hawks, Knicks, Magic(to a certain extend if Howard stays) going anywhere anytime soon. Boston is really the only team in the East fading.

Personally, I wish we had fans from every team on this forum, just because I enjoy everyone's perspective and how they view the Bulls. It would be cool to have that and I really think CCS can attain that eventually. We should want to bring Chicago to the world, as I believe it is consistently one of the best sports cities around. Talking with Lakers, Jazz, Clippers, Hornets, Knicks fans would be cool...but that's just me.

ya i agree there...atleast you have a spurs fan here....

probably wont be enjoying anymore playoff victories for a while but what evs...atleast we have solid personnel and front office....gimme dem draft picks

Adding Lakers fans and Knicks fans would bring this forum down. It's bad enough we fight amongst each other. Trow in some arrogant NY'ers, and ****** bag Lakers (Kobe) fans and this place turns into ISH overnight.

I found a new respect for Jazz fans they are all rooting for the Bulls here, its the Lakers fans that are all talking crap to me "Just because I dont want to see the Bulls win"

I don't see the Hawks rising any more than they already have. They are also stuck with Joe Johnson's huge contract. To me it pretty much comes down to the Bulls, Heat and Magic (if Howard stays). The Knicks wont go anywhere as long as D'Antoni is the coach. Teams that play zero defense will never be a contender and will always lose to a defensive minded team (Like Phoenix always lost to San Antonio).

One could argue the Knicks were a good team when Jordan's Bulls rose up. The Hawks also had a couple of good years, but that was pretty much the extent of Jordan's competition in the 90's.

Sorry but your off on this one. The East at that time during the 90's was ALOT better than you think. The Knicks were in their prime, You had Atlanta, Miami, and the Pacers. All of those teams were tough and were dam good. Take away Jordan and the Bulls, the title would have been up for grabs and any of those teams would have won it. More likely would have been the Knicks. Jordan was the Bane of New Yorks existence. Oh and dont forget, the Orlando Magic with Shaq and Penny Hardaway. They actually went to the finals, they even beat the Bulls but this was Pre-Dennis Rodman and when he arrived then the Magic were swept because the bulls finally had that rebounder they lacked. The 90s East was the Beast back then and now its starting to sway back in their favor.
