Even i did. But I'm not a grammar/spelling Nazi...oh well. Turns out the fate of the world doesn't rest upon my username.

Yeah, people who can't spell, or don't know how to use correct punctuation, always say that.

Well, you did incorrectly use that second comma. Was that the result of you misplacing it or did you think that's where you should place it?

While the comma is normally only used with lists of 3 or more, It is also used to set off phrases ("or don't know how to use correct punctuation") which interrupt the original thought. ("people who can't spell always say that.). So the 2nd comma is correct, but I should have used a comma after the word "punctuation," as well. Thanks for pointing that out.

Rule 8. Use commas to set off expressions that interrupt sentence flow.
Example: I am, as you have probably noticed, very nervous
about this.

How does a long time Heat fan not know that Wade's first name is "Dwyane?"

You used it incorrectly, guy. It's okay, it's a forum. No biggie (is that a real word, "biggie"? Is that allowed to be posted here?). It's not a government proposal.

We are not going to start correcting each others' grammatical errors are we? On a forum? You people know how long I spelled Wade's first name wrong? I spelled Isiah Thomas' name wrong for YEARS!!!. Oh well....

Hey, I never corrected anyone's spelling or grammar in this thread. Someone asked if anyone else had noticed that Wade's first name was misspelled? I merely opined that I thought many people had noticed it.

i am pretty certain that i would of misspelled wades name too for no reason other than i dont give a shit, fact is that the name is pronounced the same either spelling so why in the **** does it matter how this guy spelled it, i have been a bulls fan since birth and have distinct memories of attending games at the stadium as early as 71 but i'll be damned if i cant spell tom fucking boerwinkles name correctly, what the hell does name spelling have to do with fandom fur fuksakes

I'm not a Bulls fan so I don't care from a trash talking standpoint. But if anyone is signing up with the intention of staying around for a week, that deserves a banning in itself. They're a waste of space on this site.

All the Heat fans Ive seen recently joined after game 2. Thats not "legit".

There's an easy answer for this. South Florida fans are the most fair-weathered in the nation. I was there when the Heat won their first title, hardly anyone showed up for their rally. I was there in 2003 when the Marlins beat my beloved Cubs...their fuckin' parade came within 4 blocks of my house. Nobody, and I mean nobody showed up at then pro-player stadium until the Cubs came to town(even during the divisional race in September with the Braves). Most that grow up in S. Florida relocate, and are then replaced by people like me that want to live somewhere warm for a while.

Die hard sports fans in the entire state are about as easy to find as a hard freeze in July. That's why the Buccaneers can't sell out, and had all home games blacked out last year.

You could make a section devoted to rival talk. That way if someone is in that section talking smack then others can avoid it and stay in Bulls talk.

Of course then you have to police it but it's hard to stop rival fans from coming round when their teams are doing well. They are fair-weather dorks and not much will change that. We could at least relegate them

Can someone describe what a miami heat fan looks like? I've never seen one. Plenty of wagon-jumpers, but no actual fans.

They look like Sammy Sosa....oh wait....it is that ass clown
