Still not fixed, I'm waiting to see if Crystallas can dumb down his explanation for me, or tell me what to check for in BIOS specifically and how to change it in there.

You don't change it in CMOS. You confirm the amount that is being read, still shows 1gb or 2gb. I said Windows8 might not read 2gb correctly because of a BIOS issue.

Otherwise you need to physically check. With your own eyeballs and fingers. I dumbed it down as much as possible already LOL.

From what I've heard, you might want to just skip the Windows 8 part.
