couldn't we trade deng for either lebron or someone outside of that? there are suitors for deng like say washington right? maybe the clippers if they strike out on lebron. the clippers have a solid team except for a SF. they have enough go to scorers that they could have deng on the periphery right? then we could sign and trade picks and gibson and something else for bosh right? not that it's the most likely scenario, just that it's viable.

Do you mean is it possible under the salary cap, or do you mean the other team would want to do it?

Salary wise, yes, talent wise and financially probably not. We can trade Deng as part of any s&t for a star because we are under the cap and can absorb the salary differnce or we can trade him to another team well under the cap and dump his salary. Hope that helps.
