Browsing the web and found what people really think about Hinrich in Atlanta and the rest of the world.

:obama:

I love the comment where the guy calls Kirk a "brokeshot goggle wearing pussy"
:rolling:

I don't really hate hinrich, and I can understand why he was brought back with Rose being out.
But dam that press conference the other day for Kirk was ridiculous and made me vomit.
Especially the way the reporters bumrushed him with the microphones hounding him as if it was the return of Jordan or somthing.
Chicago sports media must be bored.

43% hate Kirk on a hate Kirk post.

When he made $11m/y-8m/y, he was easy to hate. Now, he makes a third of that.

Yeah, your right.
We got him back for cheap so I understand the reasons for bringing him back.

I feel like Kirk may have his most productive year since he was a Bull last.
He has plenty of fan support in Chicago and from what I see, I think he is really happy to be a Bull again.

I think he will be o.k, plus he's a Thibbs type of guy so he will fit right in.

I don't expect him to be DRose part 2, but I have no doubt he will provide a good service this season, as long as he stays healthy.

I don't personally hate Kirk, I'm actually rooting for him to be his old self, which is better than nothing at all.....

Like I have said numerous times, the hate for not bringing in a top of the line-up guy is legitimate. But hating the team for what they did on the bottom half of the line-up makes no sense, because that's a department this FO has done fairly well. Unfortunately, we aren't in a position to bring in a top of the line-up PG. Thus, making Kirk is a logical signing.

True.
I'm not crazy about the signings this year, and I know its just made for the bench.
But, one of the most important aspects about the Bulls success in recent years has been our bench strength.
I can't lie.....from my perspective, the bench took a downgrade big time this summer.....just sayin.

But then again, Belinelli is o.k, I actually like him better than Korver.

Radmanovic however, really really sux.

Muhhamed, I like, but he is older and not the same as he was...although. expect him to take on a Kurt Thomas roll for us.

Kirk will be perfect for our bench rotation when Rose is back, but the problem is, he's our starter and main dude until Rose comes back.

I still think all around, our bench was more deep last year......this is somthing that will become very obvious as next season gets under way..

Its going to hurt.

I'm not sure why kirk came back at the contract. CJ wasn't terrible, and his contract was cheaper. I'm interested in seeing if Kirk has anything left. For some reason, we brought him back.

Also, although this is closer to resurrecting a frankenstein than a phoenix rising from its ashes, Huzzah! The gordon-hinrich debate is alive again.

Never really hated Kirk, just hated how incredibly overrated he was by the majority of Bulls fans. But as I said 2 years ago when he was traded, I always knew once his contract was up he would be back with the team, even if it meant taking less years & less money to do so. He wants to retire a Bull.

Life before 2006 man...Hinrich was a BOSS! :smug:

But seriously, look at his playoff stats for 2005. I think that series he averaged like 21ppg and 7 assists and shot really well from the field and from 3. It's the Kirk Hinrich everyone wants him to be...

Where did that Kirk go...:pity:

I killed him in 05 and reconstructed his new clone version in a sad attempt to make gullible Bulls fans hate him as much as I do. :troll:
The experiment failed miserabley because even after this new suck ass version of Hinrich stepped out on the court, y'all still cheered and loved his mediocricy.

Hinrich hasn't been quite that bad. His percentages and numbers across the board were pretty bad last season, but the season before he did as well as CJ did this past year imo. They're two very different players anyway, but I don't think it's a stretch to say that Hinrich is actually a better overall player than CJ.

And is Hinrich's contract really 2 years for $8M? I never saw the terms of the contract...

Here we go back to the good old loving Kirk Hinrich fan excuses again.
:obama:
In the eyes of some of you guys, Kirk can do no wrong.
If he only scored 1 point and 20 turnovers in a game, Clone would probably say,"Hinrichs 1 point was the most important point of the game" or "the turnovers were okay, because his defense was stellar tonight", or "its okay, we got him cheap, what do you expect" or just simply, "Go Kirk, yippie, The captain baby"!

it's cool, it's a declining contract. we're going to pay 4.0 million the first year, the second it's going to be 3.8. We could probably trade him and the charlotte bobcats pick for an expiring.
