Should honestly let Earl go. Bears have some good receivers on the roster that I'd rather see stay than have more of the same with Earl. You know he'll be absent for, at least, half the season either with injuries or just being invisible. Also already had 2 concussions since training camp started. He's dead weight.

Hasnt Bennett only had 1 concussion since TC started and it was on Family Night? The Bears might have some good young receivers on the depth chart but they arent experienced/big enough to make an immediate impact. Joe Anderson is in his 2nd year and needs to work on blocking, route running, and being physical Marquees Wilson is a rookie and has to work on every part of his game and get bigger/more physical and everyone under are practice players. If Earl Bennett can revert to his old days, then you need that experienced man on the field for as long as you could.

Another year or 2 under Anderson and Wilsons belt and they will become very productive Wr's alongside Marshall, Jeffery and M Bennett.

Agreed.... as little as I want to say it.

And I think the real question to Modo is, is that a real AR with a toddler's finger on the trigger??? BRILLIANT!!

Earl is a good player, why cut him? Makes no sense. A lot of his injuries have come on his willingness to catch the ball and hold onto it. Then again, how did we handle Mike Brown? I never really knew what happened to him.

I believe our secondary was being stupid during training camp. Their egos got hurt that they were giving up a lot of receptions and they started nailing guys. Unfortunately Earl was one of them. Weems also got a nasty hit if I remember right. There is a reason the coaches tell them not to hit and its bullshit when they hit a player that is not expecting to get hit.

If it comes down to Earl and Hester, you keep Hester. As far as I'm concerned, Devin has earned his spot. He has won this team several games over the years and I think he has plenty of gas left. I think Hester is going to remind us who he is this year. I like Earl, and if we could keep him I would. I just don't think that he is way better than some of the younger players on the team.
