Who altered Castro's mechanics?

His mechanics were altered and it caused him to regress. Dale failed in 101 basics: if it ain't broke don't fix it.

they didn't make him change his mechanics.. they only asked him to be more patience, take more pitches, work more counts, and draw more walks.

i agree with the theory but only to certain hitters, not starlin castro..
he is much better being aggressive as he was, and maybe im wrong but it seems the last month he has been more aggressive

starlin castro is a solid hitter, im not worried about him and feel he will bounce back.. which he has since the end of June.

Sveum/McThoyer. Rob Deer too :fap: They wanted an aggressive batter to take walks. It backfired, and Castro hit like shit for the first few months.
