My personal list would be:

1. Ben Gordon
2. Elton Brand
3. Luol Deng
4. Tyson Chandler
5. Andres Nocioni
6. Joakim Noah
7. Derrick Rose
8. Kirk Hinrich
9. Ron Artest
10. Jalen Rose

Over the past decade...I don't see how anyone can put Chandler, Nocioni, Noah or Rose over Hinrich....I agree he is not the player of the decade...but he is better than eighth.....

On the other hand...what is there to choose from? That is a sucky decade......

Eddy Curry at 7? Man even Ben Wallace should be ranked higher than him. And where is Scottie Pippen? I know he only played a couple of games but come on.

And I don´t have a problem with Kirk being number one, either :p

But honestly it should be Ben over Kirk.

Is Kirk Hinrich the Bull of the decade.

Let's see now. There's a word that adequately answers that question.

What's that word...it's a very big word...what is that word...?

Oh yeah.

No.

Great point Houston. That's what we should take from this...how pathetic has this organization been if no one on this list has even come close to an All Star team.

WOAH WOAH WOAH! Is that what I've become to you all just because I happen to like Kirk Hinrich a little more than the rest of you? Let me tell you, I am no drone. I've defended Ben Gordon to the point where my friends who are fellow Bulls fans no longer take my opinion seriously. As Kush and Fred can attest to, I wrote a whole facebook note (wow big deal huh?) on why Ben Gordon should have remained a Bull. I'm probably the biggest Hinrich fan on this board and even I think that BG deserves the top spot. I will argue to the death that Hinrich is top 3, but come one now, dronetrooper? That's pretty lame. ;)

I can vouch for you, CT. You're no drone. I don't think anyone on this board is a drone. Drones are most commonly defined as people who freely comment on the Bulls, with little knowledge or experience in studying the team. They just mindlessly repeat Funk, Wennington, Kashul comments. Or repeat things they've read in Gorches or Rosenbloom columns.

Are you 100% sure on this? There was a section where I put in my top 15, and after submitting the list, it said that Ben was #1 with about 1200 submissions. That's not a lot, but I felt a little better. I would guess that Ben Finfer put that list together...the guy is a full time moron who feels the need to comment on Bulls basketball, although he's obviously never watched a game in it's entirety.

I went to high school with Ben Finfer. I can definitely attest to his idiocy.

Did he go to Buffalo Grove? Did he play any sports? They always put him on the Bulls postgame shows, and he acts likes he's James Naismith.

That list is so sad. Even the clippers or thunders list is better.

I would have Hinrich at 3 behind Gordon and Deng.

Gordon overall was our best scorer, shooter, clutch player etc. Won 6th man, should have been Rookie of the Year but the NBA is little league and everyone has to get a trophy (Okafor).

Deng is #2, he had some solid seasons and he had the series of his life in the only playoff series win of the decade. So that counts for something.

1) Gordon
2) Deng
3) Hinrich
4) Chandler
5) Rose
6) Brand
7) Curry
8) Nocioni
9) Artest
10) Duhon

He went to Stevenson and yes, I believe that he was on the basketball team.

I would just like to comment, he was on the team, but we are the Stevenson Patriots. Our coach was our drivers ed teacher. We are a joke at sports, except we had a sensational Fencing program.

Are you nuts!? Finfer was not on the Bball team Mark. He never even tried out! Believe me I would know. He looked like Bill Gates for cryin' out loud! He was a royal geek. Also, are you forgetting that we were back to back State Champions in Women's Bball during our time at the amazing Stevenson High School? It was all thanks to the Catchings sisters, namely Tamika, but we weren't a joke in sports. Our cross country team was one of the best in the state & our Hockey team was really good too. Our Men's Bball & Football were not very good, but the rest of the sports programs were pretty respectable. Fencing is for homos, I guess that's why you were on the team Mark.

How would "you" know? The only organized basketball you played in High School was NBA Live?

I tried out every year until senior year when I just gave up on ever making the team. And you forget, I played IM bball, as did you, and Finfer didn't even play that.

What about Johnny Red Kerr? What about Norman Van Lier?

What about Reinsdorf, the mascot and all the secretaries who have been with this team since the very beginning of the franchise? What about the ticket salesmen and saleswomen who work so hard to put those fannies in the seats so these guys can make the outrageous and ungodly sums that they do? How about the ushers and the security guards who keep things running safely and in decency and in order night after night (the guard in Section 105 much lower on this list than the ones in the upper bowl).

Why is it always all about the players? A team isn't just a team. It's a business. It's a company and it starts from the bottom and it goes all the way to the top.

If Kirk Hinrich is the best thing we've had going all decade they should tear down the United Center and build an IHOP.

Players don't win championships. Organizations do.

The purpose of "best of X" list is just to stir up crap and drive ad views. They don't want you to agree with it, they want you to think it's stupid so you'll tell other people how stupid it is and link to it.

Ben Gordon is by far the player of the decade.

And Fred he did come close to making the all star team and got snubbed one year he should have made it. I think it was '05-'06 when Caron Butler and Richard Hamilton made the team. That was Bull, Gordon averaged more ppg than both of them and was just flat out better than Butler that year.
