Everyone has to agree on some things
Sorry never liked Ramirez. Call me a traitor.
No I'll just call you David Kaplan.
I want to trade Starlin Castro for Matt Cain.
Yeah, he said trade Matt Cain and Madison Bumgardner for Sean Marshall and Starlin Castro.Did he really say that?

where was aram in april and may... hes playing for his contract right now. he a good player when he wants to be.
He had 114 and 104 sOPS+'s respectively for the months of April and May. That means his OPS was above average for the position. That's pretty good.

I would actually do that. Getting 2 young SP that could be in rotation for next 10 years. top of rotation starters harder to find then SS
Are you being serious? A SS that has the potential that Starlin has, leading the NL in hits in his second year and he is going to be traded for 2 SP that could break down at any moment? Peopel really need to think b4 they post, just plain idiotic.
I believe pitching wins. So if i was GM that be first thing i try to build. I understand Castro is a stud SS and i wouldnt deal him for much but if i got 2 front of rotation SP i would have to think about it hard. As for those guys breaking down, Castro could also break down anytime.
i dont think its a TERRIBLE trade considering the cubs can use some help pitching wise(especially with zambrano gone...no i dont think he's a great pitcher anymore..but overall he's better than what we have save demp and garza)
but castro is going to be special imo..like possible NL MVP
his defense is still improving and soon he'll be hitting with some power(he already is a little but im talking like double digit HRs)
I think it is funny that you guys think that a guy can suddenly decide that he is going to start playing to get his numbers. If he was solely motivated by his contract why wasn't he trying in April and May? He would be on pace for a 40+ HR season if he was hitting homeruns, and you don't think he would get a lot more money if he did that.
