I love cholula but I fear it’s the basic white girl of hot sauces. I’ve been trying to branch out. Tapatio is solid and it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg

I cannot remember if you are in Des Moines or somewhere else, but there is one in DM on University and 42nd, by the whole foods market.
If that is your city I would check that place out for hot sauce. I have picked up like 8 bottles in the last month. Their prices are on point for really good hot sauces.

You can get the Secret Ardvark sauce there, the Angry goat pepper co sauces, the Melindas Naga Jolokia sauce, among others. I was super impressed with their hot sauce selection.
