Probably would taste better with beef bone broth.

I guess the OP just took me back to a time when I was cash strapped living solo in a tiny studio apartment and got really creative with limited resources.

Now I am older, wiser and have a steady weekly salary...so I buy my lunchmeats from a deli instead of a plastic container and highly recommended the OP consider doing the same. It's worth the extra time & dinero for sure.

Last night I grilled up some steak, plus red and green bell peppers.

Did a french roll buttered with some garlic/parsley, toasted in the oven.

Sliced the steak and peppers thin, put on toasted garlic bread roll with some provolone cheese.

Turned out quite good, hoping I can reheat the leftover steak/peppers for additional sammiches.
