I can't think of a good answer to this question, so I'll ask you: who would you put as Hossa's linemates?

Honestly no trolling.

I think you get hossa away from the other teams top pairings sometimes. Hossa and sharp have a history together although not a pleasant one in some fans eyes i never had issue with it. I think you can put either richards or vermette between them and they would be fine. Richards, sharp, hossa and vermette are all capable vets who can play with each other. I think hossa and sharp still give you two strong wingers and i just think sometimes toews needs a puck possession rwer next to him like Kane. A guy that can slow the play down and move the puck to open spaces. Hossa cant do that like kane nor can saad. There is very limited creativity on the first line. I get it and i understand their role but a tad bit more creativity wouldnt hurt.

Thats all and i do think we will see them together again anyways for spirts. Happens every year in the playoffs its unavoidable. Same with keith and seabs reuniting. Just always happens so no need to believe it wont again. Ducks arent stupid they have a good coaching staff. They know the blueprint of the hawks first line. Give em a little different look. Probably wont see it in game 2 unless the Hawks go down hard early though. Q will stay the course for now. As is probably the right thing to do.

But realistically...it doesn't matter what line. He just has to produce in the goal department

Personally I don't give a **** about who scores the goals as long as they go in. Hossa leads the NHL playoffs in primary assists, but apparently for some that's not enough. I guess next time he steals the puck from Sutter he should just shoot instead of passing to Captain Loser

Btw he also leads the team with 37 shots on goal

Will Hossa ever score again with an actual goalie in net?

1g in last 24gms

Last goal scored (vs a goalie) was March 30th - 49 days and counting.

Mr.Clutch Playoff Performer -
This year - 0g - 11gms
Last year - 2g - 19gms

In that LA series last year Conf finals - he had 3a and was a -4. (Was a -2 in the 4-3 game 7 loss)

Don't go there with me, bucko:) I saw Hossa singlehandedly stop three Ducks players by back checking like a damn demon for about a minute of play. No player on the Hawks is better playing his position than Marion Hossa. He is fucking GOD to me:)

Great. Hossa backchecks.

Then get his fucking old wrinkled ass off the Power Play. Quit playing him top line minutes.

The whole "he does so much" is the biggest cop out.

He back checks hard. Great. You're supposed to. Nothing special about that. What else does he do? Tape sticks? Grab water bottles?

Doesn't hit
Doesn't block a shot - intentionally
Loves winding up and getting his shots blocked (even though Keith is the only one that gets ragged on for that)

But he hustles....and Foley gets a hard on when he backchecks....so I'm supposed to clap in unison with him

Ridiculous. He is about the purest all around player in the sport. A true example of what to teach in being a complete player. The guy's value to the team is great and fortunately Q understands what that is all about.

Well hopefully he gets a little closer to his career shooting percentage of 12.6%. This postseason it's at 2.7.
