The White Sox acquire RHP Kyle Cofield from the Braves. What the White Sox gave, was not mentioned. I think the Sox will trade is a PTBNL or cash considerations.

I was going to post a thread, but it's a MINOR move. So, I didn't.

Thoughts if any?

The Sox are reportedly sending a reliever to the Braves for Cofield.

That's the deal: Scott Linebrink to #Braves for RHP Kyle Cofield, sources tell FOXSports.com. #WhiteSox

Well Quentin stayed healthy last season. Let's see if he gets his average up this year. His power will be there and on base from him being hit lol

If I had a fantasy trade.
Chisox get:
SP Felix Hernandez
Mariners get:
SP Mark Buehrle (his deal is up after this year and that'll take 14 mill of their books)
3B Brent Morel
Pitching prospect

how bout we trade Beurhle to one of the teams mentioned in the Lee sweepstakes for some RP's and a solid ML OF or C prospect?
Washington
Texas
NY Yanks
LA Angels
LA Dodgers
not to mention some cap relief

also we can offer Carlos Q and some cash for some RP's and a ML solid prospect

or Teahan for a bag of soiled linen or something...

These teams would probably have to lose out on Greinke, first. But yeah, this Lee to the Phils have made things more interesting for the AL teams who were banking on Lee.

Well Quentin is injury prone, but so if Beltran the last few seasons. Beltran is on the last year of his contract at $18.5 million, ($8.5 million deferred). So, the Mets would probably have to pay a huge part of the final year , but they get a young OF'er who can hit for power under their control for a few seasons, and the Sox get another OF who can play defense (Beltran can play CF or RF, as can Rios) plus Beltran can be a stop gap until a kid can step up in 2012 or just sign someone for the year after.
