I actually thought the cufflinks were kind of hammy and on-the-nose.
I am guessing that creepy threesome he and wifey had wit the secret service agent is gonna come back to haunt them, among other things.
One thing I liked was the part about the Underwood typewriter, and that lie he told about his father with the gun in his mouth. He lies about his father all the time. I imagine we'll get the "real story" of his upbringing in a later season.

I was really let down by the
lezbo action. You knew they were gonna hook up as soon as the girl talked to her on the bus. Also, rewinding, Kate Mara has a nice ass but kind of a weird face.

The one thing they don't do very well on the show is the foreshadowing. Right from when FU was sworn in as VEEP I knew what the end game of the season would be. Never thought for a second the Chinese businessman was going to be long for this Earth.

Not always, but sometimes you'll find that the British versions are done much better than the US versions. So it wouldn't surprise me if the UK version trumps this one.
The Office is example number 1.

Yeah gotcha i just thought they might be being faithful to the original but this season seemed like they took off and running from the original idea. Will still watch the original either way
