I have been saying for weeks the Bears need to draft a corner in the first round. The guy I keep seeing available in the middle of the first round is LSU CB Tre Davious White. He is 5-11 , 191 lbs. and his fastest 40 is 4.38 per rotoworld. He is also a kick returner which the Bears obviously need an upgrade in. He comes from DB factory LSU but has not made many INT's. Not sure if that is indicative of his overall value or not.

Walter Football redid a mock 3 days ago with the skins drafting White at 14 and the Bears drafting Jaylon Smith at 15. Smith looks intriguing but I question whether a guy weighing 235 lbs can be an impact player playing ILB in the NFL.

So what do the draft experts around here have to say about this guy.

I like Jaylon Smith LB out of Notre Dame considering I think we won't be picking until 10-15 spots next year he'd be a huge pickup for a weaker line backing depth. Christian needs to be a backup and special teams player not a starter.

Give me the best player available at our pick.

If that's a CB, S, QB, OT, OLB, ILB take them and adjust accordingly. This team needs talent and the position isn't that important to be honest.

Exactly, this team still has tons of holes in it and it;s lacking elite talent so you take the best player on your board at a position of need.

Don't question Smith's weight. He's an absolute stud of an athlete and that includes his size and strength. At this point he is more 240 anyways. Not to mention he's the best cover LB in CFB and can run with most WRs.

It would be nice if someone who really knows about college players would comment about this. Has anybody seen TreDavious White play?
