How bad (or good) do think the Bears will be this year?

Yeah I know. I won't actively root for losses when the games are on because I'm too much of a meatball and will get caught up in it, but if it was a thing where I could make a deal right now that we go 1-15 and are guaranteed a top franchise QB, I would have to do it. Been through so much disappointment as a Bears fan I think I could manage one more year.

Any fan in his right mind would do this.

and he will start this season as well keep hating personally im gonna enjoy watching cutler who is by far the best qb any of us has ever seen in a bears uni. you should relax and stop wishing he was more than he is spend less time hating on him and enjoy him while we have him. after all I hope it isn't but odds are we will go through several worse ones before we even find a qb equal to cutler

What exactly is there to enjoy when he doesn't play to his potential and keeps turning the ball over EVERY single year?????

with jay there is always the potential for an amazing game, exciting plays, and with white on board it should be fun to watch. there's also the potential for him to throw three interceptions in a game, including some in the red zone, which may lead to a crushing loss. at least it isn't boring. this is his last shot. i'd say there is like a 5% chance he sticks beyond this year. most likely they draft his replacement next year, no matter how well he plays.

Good Lord... enough with this "best QB any of us have ever seen in a Bears uni" bullshit. That's like bragging about the best piece of shit that's ever graced your toilet bowl. It's a completely meaningless agrument to make for Cutler given this teams pathetic QB history and proves nothing.

Secondly, it's not "hating" to simply state the obvious that the Bears season will go in accordance to the QB's performance and injuries. Stop being such a overly sensative woman that cries "hater" every time someone doesn't shower Cutler with undeserved praise and simply calls it like it is.

And lastly.. "enjoy him while we have him"?!? This might be the dumbest statement I've ever read on here. What the **** should I be enjoying exactly? The 6 straight years of disappointment, erratic performance, injuries, missed opportunities, and failing to live up to modest expectations? Get the **** outta here with this bullshit.

I get what you're saying, but I wouldn't say making it to the NFC Championship game is 2010 was a disappointment. Other than that though I get what you're saying.

Cutler is NOT the worst QB in the NFL. Yes, his turnovers hurt us and he did lead the league in that one category, but he is far from the WORST turd in a bowl of turds.

13th in yards with 3,812
10th in completions with 370
15th in YPG with 254
10th in tds with 28

Bad stuff?

Tied for #1 in ints with Phillip Rivers, with 18. Bortles, Brees and Dalton all had 17. Luck had 16.
8th in sacks with 38

He screws up, he lets us down, but he is FAR from the worst.

I'm going with 6-10. They will be a better team compared to last year, but the schedule looks tough. I see 6-10 with a strong finish and a clear direction of needs for the offseason.

Ehh, the qb still has to play pretty solid to get you there. His WR's and OL were awful as well.

He is here for 2 years most likely. We picked up his $10 million option for next season when we didn't cut him in March. This doesn't mean we won't draft his replacement but I expect to see him here for 2 seasons barring a trade.

I hope Cutler gets hurt, we win 3-5 games because of front 7 out of scheme/position and our aging DB's of Rolle/Mundy/Jennings.

Year two of this regime will see Forte/Bennett and a bunch of defense out the door. The second year should be positive momentum and a QB search.

If Pace/Fox are allowed year 3, White should be ready to emerge, we should have a top ten pick QB, and a veteran ready.

I'm not too optimistic right now, Fangio is going to have to be magic and find a way with the gazillion bodies they are offering him in the front 7, basically none of them except McPhee, Ratliff should be starters next year in this base defense. Not a single linebacker out of the 11 of them has a position. We almost have to play 4-3 under until Goldman gets a year in weight room.

There were a ton of FG kickers in the league that had a better year than Gould last year.
I wouldn't even consider that position to be good at this point.
Let's hope he rebounds back to his former glory days when he was awesome.

I soured on him with his locker room bull-crap.

THe big winner next year is the guy who gets the bag of the head paper cut-off of Cutler concession. Man, Soldier Field will be having a hate-fest all around this coming season.

*Sigh*.... Again with the oversensativity. Did I say he was the "worst" QB in the league? No. I simply said that the whole "he's the best QB the Bears have ever had" argument is dumb and proves nothing.

I've looked at several season previews and several 2016 Mocks already, and a lot of people have the Bears pick 3-5 in the draft next year and have us as the 29th or 28th best team next year. There were teams like the Jags, Jets, and 49ers ranked ahead of them. Do you guys think the Bears will really be that bad this year? I honestly think we have a decent team, but I'm also always an optimist in this part of the year.

I don't know about the Bears this year, but I've always wanted to ask this question:

Cutty does what? ...
