Attempted this, worked for a week, then ultimately failed.
I had no desire to date this girl again, it just wouldn't work out between us. I even told her that, and said "I'm just not looking for a relationship right now", but she said she still wanted to hangout. So we just kept texting each other, said why don't we try this, and went from there. Hooked up twice, and then we realized just how awkward it was. I just don't think it works between exes. Old feelings come back, then the feelings of why you broke up in the first place come back. Then I realized I still hated the person that she was (hardcore *****, and probably cheated on me) and I haven't talked to her since. We're currently not friends.
My buddy likes to change the phrase "hit it and quit it" to "hit it twice and quit it" every time her name gets brought up (usually him telling me how crazy she is)

no it does, and you can do it easily. theres one problem with it. theres a good chance someone gets feelings back, if its both great, if its just one than there is drama. this is fact.

Its called Friend with Benefits, not Ex with Benefits for a reason, which has been stated by others already. Theres a reason why theyre an Ex, and those reasons dont vanish because she may be flexible
