To be honest it’s hard for me to get excited about football like years past because I personally don’t see how they will even finish the season. I’m just curious. How excited is everyone else about this season or have you already tuned out?

On another note. How many here will discount the season if the team or certain players do well?

The season prior always factors into the hype. 2019 had huge expectations due to the 2018 season. This year not so much cause well, you know.

I usually get super pumped for the opening game, then by week 8 I am already thinking about spring.

Football and our Bears are a bonus at this point. Much more important things going on in life/family/work. If fall rolls around and the Bears are on and winning it will be unexpected and euphoric.

As long as there is Bears football to watch then I’m all in. Who cares about crowds, uncertainty, or any of the other headlines. It’s Bears football. Another year of drinking the Kool Aid and wearing my bear goggles. Super Bowl baby! Bears down!!!

Im super pumped about every season, no matter what. I will always watch every game to the end, hoping for a win. Some of you "fans" really suck at being fans. And for a career? 14 years in and i retire in 6 years. 39 years old and still hope i see greatness every week. After the kids go to bed, i play Madden, only Bears. Only websites i read are Bears, or Cubs, related.

Honestly. I'm more worried about getting to watch games. Our sports bars are currently allowed to only operate at 1/2 capacity.
