There's no way the Canucks move Schneider before the end of the season. They are keeping him for Lou's inevitable bed shitting.

Bed shitting? Didn't you see Lou celebrate winning the Stanley Cup after his shootout victory yesterday?

Offer him between 4-4.7 over however many years and we lose a 1st round and 3rd round pick.

Not too bad, but a lot would have to happen.

Boston's Rask is also a RFA so they have a decision to make as well.

Would love to have Schneider here but as mentioned they would never deal with the Hawks in a million years. Crawford is just not doing it at all this season so Ray definitly has to get a good run now as he is the slightly better option.

Crawford quotes:

"It's been a weird, weird year," Crawford said. "I've played some really good hockey and some not-so-good hockey. I'm just trying to figure out a way to be consistent and be solid night in and night out for the guys in front of me. To be a top team in the league, what a team needs is a goalie who is going to go in there every game and give them confidence and give them saves at the right time."

"I'm trying to figure something out," Crawford said. "It's not like I've been giving up bad goal after bad goal. Teams are making good plays too. It seems like last year at key times I was making those saves where this year there are games when sometimes I'm making them and sometimes I'm not."

"To a certain point, yeah, it kind of hurts personally," Crawford said. "A lot of people just look at (statistics) and determine the kind of player or goaltender you are just by your numbers. I think I'm way better than what those numbers say. I just have to go out and prove it. If I'm consistent, those numbers will turn around."

"I'm not worried about our guys in front," Crawford said. "They've played well before in front of me. They've been blocking shots like crazy. The worst thing I can do is start worrying about what our guys are doing up front and get away from my game. I just have to focus on making saves, keeping our team in the game and winning hockey games. I'm still confident. I know what I can do. It's just a matter of doing it every game."

I don't care at all about the Hawks getting a shut out. Sure it would be nice, but I don't care. The only thing that matters is the Hawks getting one more goal then the other team, be it 1-0 or 5-4. I don't care if either Crawford or Emery have an average goals allowed of 10 per game, so long as the Hawks got 11.

agree with Jako, and I'm sure Crow wouldn't give a **** if he had a 4.9 GAA if it got him a cup ring!

So, how long will the Hawks go without a shutout? I think it's been like 60 games or so now. I wonder what the longest current shutoutless streak is? Hawks have to be up there.

My friend and I were discussing this the other day, and pretty much agreed that the Hawks won't get a single shutout this entire season. Boy I hope they prove me wrong and rip off like 10 shutouts in the last 30 games. But I won't hold my breath on that one.

Also, who gets the shutout? Emery, or Crawford? Or another goalie next season?

I'd settle for 2 points right now. Baby steps, you know...

I still don't think this is primarily a goaltending issue. My guess is a mental issue stemming from the team, locker room, etc.

Just a hunch.

All those shutouts will happen in the playoffs. That's what I am hoping.

There has probably been 4-5 games that should have been a SO this season only to see it blown by a d-zone turn over in the last minutes, much like tonight.
