I think he could get to be like a 20 a year type guy (wishful thinking?) maybe.. But lately he has shown some power. And with some more experience and growing he could be an ok power guy. But I would be content with around 200 hits and 75 RBI from this guy with 12 HR's haha His defense should improve as well. I just hope the Cubs keep this kid for a very long time.

Well I guess it depends somewhat on what you mean on a 15-20 guy. I don't think he will regular hit between 15 and 20 on a yearly basis, but I could see him having a season or two where he hit upper teens or even 20.

I chose 20-25, since he is still 7 years away from the time his prime should start and he already has 8 this season.

However, I do think that it is logical to say that power will have a negative effect on his batting average, as it would induce more flyouts.

However, most of his homers are line drives, so that may be false as well.

I don't see him ever being a big power guy, because that's just not in his makeup. A consistent RBI guy with a solid glove would make him a very valuable piece for the Cubs going forward. I would worry more about his plate discipline and defense before thinking about his HR total. That said, I see somewhere around 15 or so per year. He has the ability to break out into the 20s a few times, but not consistently.

I think 15-20. He should grow into his body more and already this year showing promise of more power. He could end up with 10-12 this year

Castro, to me, seems like a hitter in the Jeter mold, high average, some power, & hits to all fields. So I would say 20-25 wouldn't be out of the question.

Now if only his D can grow more into the Jeter mold.

I think it's more along the lines of 15-17 to be honest. That 20 bit might be a bit deceiving.
