There are two parts to this. How many players on this team are good enough to be on a playoff roster. How many years away are the Bears from making the playoffs.

If you want to list the players you think will be on the team please do.

I think there will be 3. Long, Jeffery, and a third player.

Glad we had an extra week to prepare for Montana to Rice.

George Halas's Ghost couldn't resurrect these Mopey Millionaires of the Midway . If the Washington Generals hadn't hung up their corsets they'd be more viable than this Bob Avellini tribute band. So I don't know two years give or take a patty cake touchdown and a special teams/ed coach. Also some defensive backs who don't make the "Hapless QB Dujour" to "Former and Future Taxi Squad Receiver" look like Montana to Rice on a weekly basis could change things. The latest Teddy (Unitas?) Bridgewater burn is a new low that will only be surpassed by the next debacle.

The new team motto of "Bear Down ... on a Hearty Pre Game Brunch" is even more telling than I feared.

If elected I will not serve although I could hold a clipboard for say seven to ten minutes if conditions were right.

None is not a ridiculous answer.

The Bears are on pace to make the playoffs once in the 10 years since the Super Bowl. That is well over the average career of even a good player.

I think it depends on how far out people think the Bears are. There is a good chance that no one on the team is playing for the Bears in 7 years. I don't think it will take that long, but it is not uncommon for teams to go 10 years between playoff appearances. I think the Bears may be 3 or 4 more years away from the playoffs.

Ugh.

Your references are off the hook.

I think the number is higher than most people seem to think.

In addition to the obvious young studs like Long, Jeffrey, and PcPhee, I think at least 5 of guys drafted this year will probably stick around a long time. I also think we got some NFL talent in the later rounds of the 2014 draft that could stick around awhile (Ka'Deem Carey, David Fales, Megapunt, Leno Jr).

Cutler will be on the team... Probably Camden, I don't think Jaxon has the "it" factor
