QBs drafted by the Bears are like fish. They are worth something when you first catch them, but they start to stink more with each passing day.

Prior to being drafted by the Bears, Caleb would have been worth multiple firsts.
After being on the Bears, probably a first and a middle round pick, based on his potential
But after next season, a 4th rounder if we're lucky

Hoge & Jahns or CHGO (don't remember which one) had Daniel Jeremiah on a few weeks back, and he casually mentioned that Williams' reputation around the league remains intact, and that he's still probably worth multiple first rounders, which makes sense because that's probably at least how much the Bears could've gotten for the #1 pick mere months ago.

I'm not sure much has changed around the league with how Williams is viewed, as opposed to fans.

Caleb Williams is on pace for a rookie year of 4,000 total yards, 21 TDs & 7 INTs. That's, uh, pretty damn good for a rookie quarterback.

What if the Bears took part in the fish draft?

So NOW you give a shit about total yards?? I was told by all you Fields haters that rushing yards don’t count for a QB…

Man, this is so depressing. I spoke something similar to existence in another thread. I would HATE to see this happen, but you just never know. Some idiot coach, some loser ass GM, and the need to get "their guy." Oh man.

Just like RB1

🤣
2562 yards passing was his peak in 2023
1143 yards running was his peak in 2022

Justin Fields was not really good overall

Williams is presently at 2746 yards passing. someone's highly optimistic thinking he's going to finish over 4000 yards on the season. he's fared better than Fields so far, but not totally by much. in my PFF stat quest it's been revealed that Williams has been sacked 56 times thus far compared to Fields worst season at 55. for the crowd that was like "Fields held the ball too long and made the offensive line look worse"

my final conclusion is this is just a bundle of ****
