I guess I just don't typically trudge through salty slush. I guess Illinois has yet to adopt a fucking shovel.

I guess Iowa has yet to adopt driveways with curbs. I take my shovel down to the curb where there is occasionally slush with salt in it, because in civilized areas they use salt to fight ice. What does Iowa use, pork fat, corn?

Before you step in the salty slush, wouldn't you use the shovel in your hand to clear the way?

Really? That shit is halve water, are you able to remove all the water from your side of the street in Iowa.

I think you might live on a dirt road that never gets salted and have no idea what I'm talking about.

Except you are not just stepping over it, you are removing the snow around it, so yeah occasionally stepping in it. This is snow removal 101, why are you making me explain this to you? Did db70 hack your account?

He is still cranky because I banned his HamptonFingers alt.

As to the OP....I still try to get two, maybe three, days out of a pair of jeans. I used to do a week bare minimum, but then I married someone that will go out of her way to keep me from being too gross.

There have been times where I was too lazy to do laundry, so I bought some more clothes in stead. Which doesn't really make sense since that probably took more effort.... but **** it.
And they made you a mod. LOL

You're really diggin in on this salt ring thing lol. To be frank, it has probably happened at some point in my life but maybe once a year. It's not like this big thing. Also, if it's a big snow and I have to shovel, I don't wear my nice jeans. Like a normal Midwestern I invested in some Carhartt overalls and wear those. I'm not like the idiot above and splish splashin around in my slacks in the snow

How dare you!?!??

I listed things that could cause me to wash my jeans early/more frequently. You pretended to not know about salt stains.

Do you actually go outside in this shit?
