Seriously, Hoyer couldn't have played a much better game with the exception of a couple of plays. Regardless of stats, he threw the ball a lot and made great decisions. He certainly wasn't 'game managing'. There were no dumb a 'almost' INTs like Cutler throws every game. No cringing when the ball is thrown because you are waiting for a turnover.
As to the AJ thing, yeah he missed him on that last play, but you can't say he ignored AJ when he was probably doubled most of the game. Furthermore, even if he did ignore AJ, he still moved the ball to Miller and Meredith, so who gives a shit where the receiving stats go?
Quite frankly, I was giddy to see a Bears QB actually be able to anticipate and throw to a spot for the first time in a decade, it seems. See ya, Cutler.
