A funny thing about Hub, he rips on Fields all the time but his two comps for Fields are Rogers and Mahomes... So on one hand Fields is terrible but also comparable to two of the best QBs in the league. My guess is he's (Hub) is doing the whole hate click thing.

Look...if we're picking top 5 it means we won less than 5 games.....a qb is absolutely in play to draft unless Fields had a magical year but lost every game 35-31 because of the defense

Injured again? So injury prone.....even more reason to draft another qb

But you had no problems giving Mitch years upon years

?

The QB is literally the only reason to take this job. Bad cap situation, depleted draft picks ... Seriously, why would he take the job if he doesn't like the QB?

Geez people are dumb

Bingo!

Mitch GM drafted and unloaded picks for him.....and continued to be his GM.

Fields has a new regime not tied to him at all.

My guess is Poles won't move on a QB next year unless Fields is an unmitigated disaster (which is possible). Poles will likely get a chance to make a move for his handpicked QB if fields isn't the guy and then some time to see if that QB is the guy.

I wonder why?te
Bears were 12-4 after year 2 of Trubisky.

like I said.....if the Bears are picking top 5 next season (after year 2 of fields) a qb with the 1st pick isn't too big a stretch to imagine.

Hub knows what he’s doing. He, just like so many in the media, make unpopular opinions just to get people to talk about him/his work.

There’s no such thing as bad publicity.

You’re playing right into his hands

Exactly that. I call it Bears fear porn. There are people who sell doubt, fear, and uncertainty regarding the Bears, which feeds into the pathos of a certain, cretinous type of Bears fan who can't run fast enough to click on that article, listen to that podcast, watch that stream, all so they can have their own pathos "confirmed" by an "expert". And the people who do this in the media know it. Things won't change until behaviors change.

Thankfully, there appears to be a growing movement among some of the younger journalists, podcasters, and streamers to do the job of these reporters better than they do, not engage in clickbait, and in fact seem to have a very open contempt for the clickbait journalists, and aren't shy about firing shots across the bow at them on social media.

I think its the older generations that are that susceptible to Bears click bait anyway....

Hub is the best and anyone that disagrees is a dicklicker
He was sucking off Pace for 7 years. You keep claiming to have been anti-Pace for 7 years.

You have one lane to pick. Chose your fate.

You don't call it Bears fear porn. DBB calls it Bears fear porn and you do what you do best, repeat what you read from your favorite follows.

That's good to hear. But Trubisky did this as well. At least we know that he's not JaMarcus Russell

The point isn't what Trubisky or Fields did. This is what Poles is saying about Fields, and he went on the radio this morning to say this.

What's clear is he's heard all this negative shit about him not believing in Fields, and Poles himself is trying to put this to bed.

So at this point, anyone saying Poles doesn't believe in Fields is doing so in order to stick to a narrative, because the man himself just reaffirmed he does believe in Fields.

He didn't go on the show to say this. He had a scheduled interview and this was one of the questions that came up. What did you expect his answer to be if he actually didn't fully believe in Fields?

PS having everyone on ignore is not a way to have a conversation about football FYI.

He should have said that Omeletpants is the most accurate poster on here, clearly. Amirite?
