I walk, bike and rarely drive. But that's not the issue here. I am just curious why there seems to be such a disdain for anything that has to do with protecting the environment from the right.

economics. thats it..there is nothing else. All comes down to economics.



There is NOTHING on this planet that is more important or shapes any cultures ideals and behavior than the natural environment and the economical system that environment influences and shapes. NOTHING...not family..not friends...not religion...NOTHING. There would be no economic systems (big or small) what so ever without what resources the environment gives us to exploit. You can't even produce artificial goods which are ment to protect the environment without taking something else from the environment. Economics produce social conditions good or bad... hell they create social beings. There would be no social systems without an economical system and no economical system if there were no natural environment which to exploit.



The struggle is always going to be there. Sadly our ideals of needs and wants have been blurred to the point where it is now the major influence on our social, economic systems therefore the natural environment conditions.
