From what I have heard and read so far the Mexican Government and businesses are much better evacuating their people and tourists than ours during Katrina. A large amount of tourists were moved to storm shelters and more equipped structures to avoid the direct hit.

My buddy and his wife were in Cabo when the last storm hit Mexico pretty hard. Spent the whole week in a boarded up resort. Knew there was going to be a storm but decided to go anyway. That had to be a bad decision, eh?
