I sold Xmas trees one winter a long time ago so I have no questions for the OP...only advice.
Keep your hands and entire arms well covered. While I wore gloves, I only wore a flannel that bunched up while lifting trees exposing my bare arms to those needles frequently enough that I had tiny scratch marks covering my entire forearms until Valentine's Day.
They didn't hurt and didn't itch with proper care, but they looked like I had hives for months. Try to avoid the same fate and enjoy that extra holiday cash!
