Except that he picked a sample size consisting of HALF of a game which Brees came back and won. So this remains a terrible thread, not to mention one that backfired. Plus Brees is worlds above Trubisky even on an average day. To be honest I'd take Drew Brees OVER Aaron Rodgers. Even in a moment of extreme sarcasm, there should never ever ever ever ever be any instance where Brees and Trubisky are mentioned together in the same sentence.

Nobody said Trubisky is as good as Brees. Also, Brees still didn’t get 6 TDs this game.
The point is twofold:
(1) Trubisky really did just have a great game against the Bucs. There should be no discrediting of that, especially when even elite quarterbacks can’t duplicate it.
(2) Anyone extrapolating big statements from single games is wrong.
I feel dirty for even having to explain all that....

So by that same logic, mahomes must be far better than trubisky because he lit up the rams defense. And Goff lit up the saints, but not as much as Fitzpatrick did, so he must be the best QB in the league. Or maybe it’s osweiller because he lit up the bears and the bears stopped Goff and Fitzpatrick...

They're only bad because they don't protect Eli most of the time. And then he melts down. If he has a clean pocket to work with they play a lot better than their record.

Mitch did play well in that one, but in the NFL, it's what have you done for me lately. Matt Flynn threw six in a game a few years ago too.
