I will respond without making fun of your broken english.

The problem most people have with Cutler is his lack of what appears to be leadership ability. You rarely see him congratulate a fellow player when he does well. He doesn't appear to motivate his teammates, which is expected of a QB.
I think he always has a dumb stare into space because he is trying to listen to Gase on the helmet mic...
This is bullshit. You don't watch the games because i see him congratulate his teammates all the time.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Seattle Sounders FC
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
The problem is that there are two groups on this board that make the most noise.

First at the Jay Cutler haters, the ones that cannot, under any circumstance, give the guy credit for any of the things he has done. According to these guys Cutler is not only a lousy quarterback, he also is a snotty nosed punk that kicks dogs, tazes small children and runs busloads of Nuns off the street for the sheer fun of it. If Cutler throws three TDs and one pick they will concentrate entirely on that interception. These guys have to be the most miserable bunch of bastards in the world to actively go out and look for ways to negatively view the quarterback for their favorite team.

The second group is the Jay Cutler lovers, the guys that continue to make excuses for him no matter how many on field brain cramps he has. These are the guys that blame just about everything but Jay Cutler for poor performance. First it was the lack of receivers, then the lack of offensive line ability, then it was coaching. While each argument may have some merit ultimately it is up to the QB to perform, not the other players' jobs to make him look good. The Cutler apologists still look at Jay like he is that 26 year old phenom that we traded a significant part of our future for, not the 32 year old that he is now.

The reality about Jay is that he is a fairly successful QB that hasn't lived up to his potential. He is arguably the best QB that Chicago has ever had, at least in the last 40 years but that is not necessarily a sign of outstanding play. His last game is a perfect example of the maddening inconstancy that is Jay Cutler. He threw for 2 touchdowns and set us up for the win. He also fumbled in the Red Zone and threw another pick6 (not sure who's fault that was). We managed to win that game but we could have cruised to a win except for the fact that he did more to keep the Chargers in that game than the Charger's offense.

As for people saying he doesn't act like he cares or that he is competitive; well that is flat out crap. Part of Jay's problem is that he is so competitive that he tries to do things that he probably shouldn't. One of his biggest criticisms is that he tries to make throws that are next to impossible sometimes. In the past I've called him a poor man's Brett Favre and that is because he tries to emulate him in that regard. Unlike Favre, who sometimes could pull of some impossible crap, Cutler cannot. But the competitiveness of Jay Cutler is what makes him try to throw things that a normal QB would just not.

Ultimately my opinion of him is that he is merely above average, and probably not worth the money we are paying him. Is he better than half of the QBs currently starting? Probably but that also means he is worse than half the QBs currently starting. He had a lot more hype than that, a lot more potential when he was traded to us in 2009. That is part of the reason he has been so polarizing.
