The real question is who DOESN'T need Yvonne Craig?!?!?

Although we could probably throw in some Julie Newmar, too...

Batgirl. Not Yvonne Craig. Batgirl.

I mean if we are going back Rita Hayworth too. Or a young Sophie Loren or hell when was only kinda old she was a cougar so her too.

When are we going to figure out that, it isn't so much the food we eat, as our lazy fucking lifestyle? I ate a ton of fast food when I was a kid, and most people thought I was fucking anorexic. Why? Because I was outside all day, every day, running around like a lunatic, riding my bike, playing sports, whatever. Now, parents let their kids sit around watching tv or playing video games all day, instead of forcing them to be active and healthy.

As usual, we can blame the parents.

True true. But kids are marketed to by these corporations at alarming rates now. I agree 100% that parents need to take the comps and video games away from their kids a little more and get them running around like kids should be doing. Sadly parents can't always be around to control what their children are watching and seeing and hearing. Even turning off the televisions and comps isn't going to do the trick. Kids see all these images all over the place being marketed towards them and them really not knowing. All they see is fun with fat foods etc etc. They don't think about marketing etc etc. Perhaps parents need to teach that? But then again I doubt many parents see the marketing madness themselves.

But yah agree though Pez. When we were younger companies pandered to children like myself also. **** saturday morning cartoons alone could have made a kid fat and diabetic. Luckily my mother always pushed me outside also and would never allow sugar cereals etc in the house and actually took the time to explain why. Not that difficult.

Being that its in San Francisco and all, you sure it isn't for the safety of just the children?

Not that I wanted to go there and all, but it had to be said.

Seriously. No idea how much wood I got watching her as a kid.

Yvonne Craig has said in interviews that Adam West and Burt Ward nicknamed her "Bucky Beaver" off the set after some toothpaste commercial cartoon animal because she had large top front teeth and a pronounced gap between them.

She could have given you a "Woody Woodpecker" happy meal but the experience might not have been very satisfying, kind of like that dumb kid when the smart ass owl determined that it only takes three licks to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop.

Ah, one...

Ah, two...

Ah, three... CRUNCH!!

Maybe someone floated a rumor that the Happy Meals in S.F. were going to contain a set of wind up dentures and that's what has them all riled up.

As of the end of the year, he'll be the Lieutenant Governor of the State of California... Take that as you will.
