dont get me and crys started on a audi rant. we both are experienced car guys.one can build the cars and the other buys and sells them. audi is overpriced and too much to maintain. they are trying to get into the middle market but its not working due to the cost to own. the internet can say whatever it likes about the audi, when it comes down to an audi 2 years or older, car buyers at the auction stay far away. i only see this happen 100 times a week.
Not buying it. When compared to BMW an Audi is better built and cheaper, plus it rides and handles better.
Everyone has their own experience with cars, but I'm telling you mine. I'll guarantee that I have owned, leased or had company cars more vehicles than anyone on this forum: Mustang, Chrysler Sedan, Trans Am, Triumph TR7, Vega, Pinto, two 5 series BMW, Jag XJS, 2 Caddies CTS, 2 Caddie STS, 3 Chrysler T&C, Honda Prelude, Olds mobile SUV, and that doesn't even include the 15 ford/Chevy company cars I have possessed. And the best built, best handling, most solid car is the Audi A5 I currently have. I also have a friend that leases 7 Audis for his employees and no issues and my best friend just spent 100K on a S7 when he has had BMW M5s for the last 15 years. No issues and no problems and everyone is totally pleased
I plan on getting an Audi R8 at some point and have been on that forum for 2 years. Rarely ever hear of a single issue or even their vehicles in for repairs. In fact, it's amazing how many of their members have switched from Ferrari, Lambos, Bentleys to the Audi R8. They say it's the most user friendly, cheapest to maintain supercar on the road.
The Audi R8 is the best built, most highly tested with the most quality control measures of any car made in the world. r8 workers are the most highly trained and experienced in the world. Check this video
