Mitch did not look fantastic. We scored 6 points in the first half and 15 overall. Even if you give him the 3 points Parkey missed that is only 18 points. We basically had the lowest scoring offense in the playoffs next to the Texans.

Trubs played like he has most of the year. Long periods of ineffectiveness with brilliant flashes mixed in. If the Bears intend to ever challenge for a SB, we need to stop being content with mediocre offense and 15-18 points is mediocre offense. End of story.

Where was Mack all game? The D couldn't get a stop to save their life in the 2nd half. Parkey with his usual miss. Howard his usual run straight into the back of the OL or when the hole is there, goes down with an arm tackle. Trubisky made 2 huge throws no other QB made in this round. Trubisky came through clutch with a go ahead TD and positioned them for an easy game winning FG. Rest of team let him down. You're just a hater.

I like that Nagy stuck with Parkey all year. He believed in his guy. The player has to step the hell up and do their job. He had his opportunity to redeem himself for the entire year today and choked on a 43 yarder. That's a chip shot these days.

That's the problem. Too many people here think Trubisky is off the hook as long as he makes one or two good throws a half.

And you guys wonder why the media doesn't love him.

Nagy doesn't have any control over cuts and signings. That's on Pace. He shouldn't need Nagy to tell him to find another kicker.

I think we need to find a #1 receiver for Mitchell. Allen Robinson is the closest thing but it's not enough. Eagles have weapons all over the place.

More importantly than that, the Bears need to find a replacement for Jordan Howard. They struggled to run all year long, and Howard is not the explosive runner this offense needs.

I think a lot of us knew Parkey was missing after he made the one that didn't matter. It's always a terrible omen to make a practice kick like that.

With no first 2 picks to make a thousand mock drafts, this board might not make it to preseason. Just shut it down for the offseason

There is VERY good reason to be VERY optimistic moving forward. Mitch Trubisky looked fantastic tonight. Outside of a couple of almost picks, the decision making was there, the play-making was there, the stats were there, & he consistently made some BEAUTIFUL throws into some very tight windows.

If you are still riding this kids ass after tonight, you need to lose your Watson under-roos & open up your eyes. Again, I this one hurts & I thought Parkey should have been cut after the miss in the Rams win, but Mitchell Trubisky is a franchise QB in the making. Hang in there & Chin up folks, we've been through worse! I fully believe better days are ahead.

I hate to shit on your parade but this is the NFL which other than the obvious also stands for "Not For Long". First on Trubs the guy put up 15 goddamn points. 15 points on offense! After a horrible first half he managed to escape being absolutely ripped by the media by doing some good things and Parkey taking the donkey of the day award.
The fact is we don't know what this team will do next season. We could come out and end up like the Vikings and the Jaguars and not even make the playoffs. When you have an opportunity like this you have to pounce on it and this team failed to do so. This was an absolutely terrible loss and there are no guarantees for next season or any others in the future. I hope on wrong.

Dude he won the game for his team. The D let Foles go like 80 yards in the late 4th for a touchdown. Then after the fuckup makes 2 huge throws after the Cohen return to set up for a chip shot. If you can't comprehend that you're a troll or hater.

Trubisky didn't do anything for 3 quarters. How many times did we punt? The defense is going to get scored on sooner or later if the offense cannot get them time to rest.

Even if you're right - and you're not - and the defense blew the 4th quarter...Trubisky and the offense blew 3 outta the 4 quarters and you're trying to hang it on the defense.

At least we won't have to be worried about Fangio getting outschemed against an inferior opponent next year since he was too busy prepping for interviews next week.

Nah sorry he's not a franchise qb. Sad thing is we have to deal with it for atleast 3 more years.
You have no idea (no one does) if he is a franchise qb yet. Next season is the season that will give a better picture of what he is and will be. Considering he's a second year qb in a new system he had a good first game in his playoff career which Is what would be the story if the bears had won. Im disappointed in his play because he simply didn't move the ball down the field consistently. People talk about him putting us in a position to win but lets not forget it was Cohens kick return and one big play to Robinson that put us In position to win. If that drive started at our own 20 we problably never get a chance to win it.

The D didn't need something unrealistic like a 3 and out. They needed to not allow a TD, at home, when they are supposedly the best defense in the league with less than 4 minutes in the 4th quarter. That's a huge margin for error. The Bears lost because they counted on the defense to get stops when it mattered. Turns out they can't be relied upon so the offense will need to be more aggressive next year.

Who else on the team came up with clutch plays when it mattered? Trubisky, Cohen, Robinson. Hicks played like a beast this game. That's it. Howard and Parkey can be gone for all I care. We need a better RB.

Yes, they'll have to score more than 15 points in the modern NFL to win playoff games. It's not 1985.

Lol, the D gave up 16 points which is less than all the playoff teams aside from the Colts and the Eagles. The D did its part tonight. The O did not.

Yall are crazy. You keep wanting the D to move mountains while all you expect from the O is a couple nice throws. It is absurd. A playoff O has to score more than 15-18. Few playoff defenses give up less than 16.

I guess you didn't see the 2 INTs by the defense that the offense only managed to get 3 points out of.

Bears fans will feel better next week when another 4 teams, including the eagles get bounced..

This was a good experience for Trubisky and he proved he can put his team in a position to win a playoff game. Just needs to use this game as motivation to get back and avenge this loss.

If Parkey makes the field goal they score 18. All of the winning teams this week scored around 20 points. If they converted the 2 point play they get to 20.

When you supposedly have the #1 defense in the league you would think they would be able to get a key stop at home in the late 4th. Apparently not.

The Bears D gave up 17.7 points a game this year. They gave up 16 tonight. You guys are mental. The D played like a NO 1 D tonight but the number 1 D still gives up on average 17.7 points.

The 32nd ranked offense scores 14.1 points. The Bears scored 15. So you are literally shitting on the No 1 D for playing like the No 1 D while praising our offense for scoring like the worse offense in the NFL. It is remarkable.
