Maybe an off day with no baseball? I know MLB doesn't like announcements like a hiring on days of games.
Well let's hope Houston wraps it up tonight then.

You think this happens in a couple of days?Ok Theo, time to let us know who you are hiring.
Just curious which candidate a real Cubs fan like you wants to get the job.Ok Theo, time to let us know who you are hiring.

Espada
I guess since Theo had to bring him back in, that means Theo missed something in the original meeting? Was it incomplete? Was Ross asked if he would consider being a bench coach? Doubt he gives up the ESPN deal for that position.
A lot of the time "second interview" is just code for "meeting ownership" for the final bless-off on a hire.
I didn't miss it, but couldn't remember where I had seen it. Thanks for posting.Cubs FO impressed by Espada, according to reports. Could be a good choice with culture change. Astros started some training trends between Blast Motion sensor and Springer trained with Axe overload/underlaid bats from Driveline.

Yep....Jesse Rodgers is saying there's a strong possibility the Cubs will announce David Ross as the new Manager for the Chicago Cubs National League baseball team on Thursday.
I thought teams weren’t suppose to make announcements during the World Series?Jesse Rodgers is saying there's a strong possibility the Cubs will announce David Ross as the new Manager for the Chicago Cubs National League baseball team on Thursday.
