I saw a very pretty homeless chick today

She was on the corner with a sign saying she was homeless. How do pretty girls become homeless anyway? Usually it's hippies or bums you see panhandling for cash, but this time I was surprised to see a chick. I guess I should have offered to get her lunch or something, but I was in a hurry to get home to watch the 'Cuse game.

Ran into that in Portland. A cute girl with a sign. A lot of people gave her money. Probably a college kid "working" for a stake? BEats prostitution I guess. THere are a lot of "homeless" people in Portland and Seattle also.

I'm at the top end of my 40's and isolation in a rural area sounds good to me.

whats stopping ya.. responsibilities.. work? if its work you can always just drive a lil further eh..

if it werent for the kid/wife id be isolated somewhere in murica.. maybe montana/dakotas/alaska

My wife's job is keeping us here for now, but she will soon be able to work remotely. Then, I just have to pry her away from all her family in this area.

The mountains of New Mexico..

I think the Blue Ridge mountains are super beautiful and there is a lot of wild life and water there. The worry I would have there is that if there is a mass exodus from the cities those mountains could be overrun with hangry people which could cause some serious problems to anyone established out there.
