Taking my crow on that one. After suffering this teams defense over the season without him, then seeing the defense without Butler,

then seeing the organizational, length, and compete impact of Dunleavy in that void,

I now understand the need to go into the tax for an aging player with a bad back.


He is moving well, and I am now excited to see what the defense looks with two long smart operators of defensive hands in the lane when Butler gets back.

Rose-Butler-Dunleavy-Gibson-Gasol has some potential.

McBuckets is emerging. Mirotic is the piece that just needs to get more efficient. Portis is here. Then I think Moore has beaten out Brooks and I would think that is our 8-9 man rotation come playoffs. (Mirotic maybe needing to win any time at all, Brooks/Snell having potential for situational moments and nothing more)

Our defense may magically come together when Gasol/Gibson flip the tough switch.

I, too, was not high on Dunleavy, but am coming around.
