If at the beginning of the year you were told Caleb would have these stats at the end, you would have been happy with it:

Couldn’t agree more. I expect them to do the dumb thing until proven otherwise. The first mistake has been made in retaining poles, from that alone, I won’t believe we make the right decision until proven otherwise.

Why interview 17 people?? Ron Rivera??????? One year removed and his team does a complete 180’
I'm somewhat glad Commanders won. we need an insurance policy for eradicating the Lions.

From Fishbain at The Athletic:

“It’s one thing to throw it a lot on fourth down — that will inflate some stats. It’s another to be accurate and productive, as Williams was converting first downs with his arm. Seventeen of his 19 completions went for first downs.

The only ones that didn’t were the failed fourth-and-1 screen attempt to receiver DJ Moore in Washington, and a fourth-and-20 desperation situation against New England that was an 8-yard completion”

It's ok to think that Williams has decent stats and showed a lot of promise and also think that he needs to improve. Get the right coach and also have Williams improve on the things he struggled with and the Bears will be good.

Oh, 100%.

The problem is that he is statistically similar to ROY candidate Daniels despite going through much worse conditions and idiots want to somehow label the kid as a bust after a typical rookie season from a good QB prospect.

CW's 4th down stats are crazy, top-of-the-league good. I think this shows his potential. When the pressure is on he plays his best. His growth will be around learning to play that way in Q1-Q3, 1st-3rd downs.
