not possible guys! 22 mil of cap space, bosh is max (17) and johnson turned down 15.5 mil per year from the hawks so obviously he wants more than that. boozer and johnson probably isn't even possible because johnson wants minimum 15 and that would leave only 7 for boozer. not happening.

Of course i would be disappointed if he didnt get any of the big 3 but i would be very happy with Johnson and Boozer. That fills our two biggest needs(Legit scorer with range and size at SG and a scoring PF). Look at the lineup Rose-Johnson-Deng-Boozer-Noah...Are you kidding me? Thats a legit squad right there. 1-4 are all guys that can go off and score on a good night and we all know what Noah provides and him and Rose are only getting better. Joe Johnsons Hawks finished third in the East. JJ and Boozer on the Bulls will put us in the top 2, depending on where some of the other FAs go. But we need to get bench depth.

Joe Johnson is terrible and getting old. He is not a #1 dood in the NBA, as you can see when we just watched him get shut down in the playoffs. He is going to get a franchise-crippling contract from some team, so I just hope it's not the Bulls.

Rudy *** is the same position/size/skills as Deng (look at this comparison: Bull Bear Sock: How Will the Summer of 2010 Play Out for the Chicago Bulls? (Part 2) (you can also see a link to why Joe JOhnson is old and not worth signing).


Boozer/Amare is the best option if we miss the big 3 because they can both run the pack-and-roll, so it helps DRose get more space. Also, both would benefit from playing with a legit center. We just need a shooter to spread the floor ... possibly Ray Allen?

*** is an acutal athlete on the wing who can defend his position and actually put the ball on the floor to get to the basket. Deng is a spot up shooter who takes an occasional three pointer.

Well one would hope Deng mvoes well without the ball...because if he didn't he wouldn't move well at all. Plus *** would look a heck of a lot better "moving with out the ball" with Rose as his PG.
