If Lebron comes to Chicago, what does your ideal roster look like?

The only question is whether or not they want to pay the contracts. Since they will not be competing for anything more than a 6-8 playoff spot, I'm not sure if they would. That is why I said to throw in the draft pick, since that might convince them to take on the salaries. Draft picks are extremely valuable to Toronto since it is tough for them to get free agents.

LeBron cannot play 5 and can play against many of the 4s in the game. I wouldnt want him to though. I let him play in his 3 spot and flourish.

No way Toronto goes for this on Bosh.

The only other way they would is if the Bulls gave both of their 1st round picks as well. Im assuming Toranto would want a Kings ransom for Bosh.

Looks good, although I don't think we will go after Allen if we get James and Bosh. There just won't be a need, we already have the best team and will probably challenge for the best record in the history of the NBA with Rose, Noah, James, and Bosh. I almost want to puke that's so sick!!!!!!!

Get real, there's no way anyone touches the 72-10 record from the old Bulls.

The Bulls HAVE to trade Hinrich. I'm sure LA will be calling, especially after Westbrook and DWill gave Fish fits in the playoffs. Plus, Paul will be healthy, and Curry (I'm sure he'll be the PG eventually) will make things hard for the Lakers in years to come. Trade Hinrich, sign LeBron for $20mil/yr, and the Bulls would still have $10mil to offer Joe Johnson (not a max guy, but can be a good player when he's not counted on to carry a team, i.e. Atlanta in the playoffs this year).
Rose
Johnson
James
Gibson (or maybe a big from the draft)
Noah
Gotta find somewhere to move Deng (maybe for a future 1st), because I wouldn't wanna see a $12mil player sitting on the bench.

many flaws in this post

the cap room thing only applies to the first year of the deal. the first year would be about 17 so that's what we work off of. second, if we trade hinrich to the lakers we can't do it for cap room because they can't absolve contracts and expiring contracts can't be a factor. third, joe johnson turned down a deal worth 15.5 a year from atlanta, he won't settle for 10.

First of all, FA begins July 1 but you cant officially sign deals until July 8th, no? So, theres a week to work out deals. If none of the teams are open to sign and trades, whether its Cleveland or Toronto, can you not trade Hinrich to LA for some scrub? Im under the impression that salaries dont have to match if your under the salary cap, which we are.

no sorry you have the rule mixed up. we are allowed to take back and absolve salary because we're under the cap. however a team like LA would not be able to because they're over the cap. salary only doesn't matter if WE take back more salary. i hope that clears it up.
