If Rios has a bounce back year, would you trade him?

I guess if you have a foolish GM that is willing to take the bait on this guy, I guess you do it regardless???? or if he starts playing great, do we say "he is coming around"? i just dont know

The question us do you white flag him? Even if the Sox are leading in late summer you have to get out of his contract. It hurts all the moves that can be made going forward. And if you trade him you can always trade for something back to replace the bat

wow too even think about this as a possibility that he even remotely turns it around is beyond e this guy is so bad for the oney that even a turn around year this year would not be enough for someone to take on his contract knowing tis uys track record. He needs to put together 2-3yrs minimum with good solid numbers for someone to consider him by then its too late his contract expires...man this kid is a waste of great talent IMHO

IMO he's had many opportunities to "come around". It's time for the Sox to cut their losses with this guy when there's a taker.

Wow. De Aza worse than Rios? Really? There's no way. De Aza has talent and potential.

Get rid of Rios as soon as you get an offer. His contract is too high and what he produces isn't worth it.

I don't really give a shit if he's helping the team win, I doubt that trading him midseason is going to kill the Sox chances of the playoffs, since they don't really have a playoff chance.

De Aza has been in the minors for a reason brah.

Hating on Rios is a fucking joke. Hope he hits just to shut some of you clowns up.

LOL at De Aza being better. Are you high?

A career .275 hitter & guy with almost 1,200 hits is clearly garbage.

De Aza spends most of his time in the minors & is a stud now.

When De Aza was a Marlin he was their starting CF'er in 2007 before the injuries cost him a season.

a .265 OBP, .348 SLG, and an OPS of 791. Whats not to love?

Are you high? You don't think De Aza can out produce a guy who has hit 256/301/404 in his two full seasons with the Sox?

If Rios wasn't getting paid as much as he is, he'd belong in the minors.
