Well, that's partly what I'm getting at... but I even LOL more at the white people who mimic that shit. That's the even FUNNIER part :)

Show you examples? Watch BET, listen to a majority of hip-hop/rap lyrics, watch MTV, watch most E! or VH1 reality TV shows, or listen to anyone with sneakers w/o shoelaces, most kids with baggy pants, or anyone wearing a flat-rimmed hat.

The English language is butchered by NBA fans everyday, all over the place.

Sure, it's pointless to point it out, since it is so commonplace, but wtf, I find it pathetic and a sign-of-the-times. I'm sorry if has started to become a disease amongst a certain % of NBA fans. Such is the sterotype.

Yeah because hockey and NASCAR fans speak perfectly proper King's English.

Bigoted much?

We aren't programmed robots that must follow the same code of communication. It's only in our best interests to make those attempts. But to make a big deal about throwing around some slang or using an alternate use of words does not mean they have less rights to an opinion and their speech. If you understood the person, fine, if you didn't, skip it. If you want to see one person's diction in a relaxed format as negative, you have every right to have your opinion, but you also have to bare in mind that two wrongs don't make a right.

You missed his point completely. Jesus.
I read his post and I got his point, his subsequent posts furthered a bigoted point of view. He lumped almost all NBA fans into a category of ignorant fools who can't speak.

Let's get back on topic here. No need for stereotyping or prejudice in a thread about basketball.

The people here on this forum usually don't sound like the normal NBA fan, hence why I pointed it out. You agree with me because that shit is so rampant it's sick.

And the NBA perpetuates the shitty language that I pointed out... listen to most NBA players being interviewed, it's fucking hilarious. They sound exactly like all of the examples I stated. But when it comes from one of them, it's cool, because they get paid a lot of money to sound ignorant.

You must have never watched a Nascar driver get interviewed......

If you don't understand something then be quiet. Don't make indirect racist remarks. You don't understand ghetto? Who does, ghetto isn't a language. Go to England. They will get on you about your English because they believe American's butcher their language.......Let's not speak about something you know nothing of, because by your comments it shows your ignorance on the matter.

This is the basketball section of the forum. I guess that must be the "ghetto" you can't understand either......

Yeah that will happen most likely. Though I would personally like Hamilton to come off the bench to add scoring to our bench, but if he starts cool.

I would expect Rip to start for sure...Brewer can come in for defensive purposes and when Rose needs to sit down for a breather, Both Rip and Brewer can be out there at the same time while Rip handles the ball...

Rip can ball, I was just saying Brewer has a lil better ball handling than him. I liked Rip back when he was in DC. That's my guy even though he is an ex UConnvict player.
